STATEMENT OF FAITH: WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe in the bible as the written and verbal inspired word of Cod in all parts both the Old and New Testament and is therefore wholly without error, inherent and authoritative in our faith and practice. This is revelation of God to man.

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His victorious death as the only sacrifice for the sins of the world. His bodily resurrection from the dead. He is our intercessor in prayer. His future return in glory first to rapture the church and second to establish the Kingdom of God upon the earth.

We believe in the finality of Christ's meditorial work for the redemption of mankind and the present freedom of access to the Father.

We believe in the new birth as the only means of receiving eternal life. The new birth involves a cleansing and also deliverance from the penalty and power of sin. It is effectuated through faith in Jesus Christ and repentance from sin.

We believe in divine healing for the total man, spirit, mind, and body and that this healing is accomplished in the redemptive work of Christ on the cross and appropriated in the believer's life through faith and prayer.

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as an endowment of power for all believers. This baptism results in a deeper expression of spiritual fruit, a greater growth in Christ likeness, a genuine manifestation of spiritual gifts and a more effective prayer life. Speaking in tongues is permitted using biblical guidelines. Also power to cast our demons.

We believe in the process of spiritual development called sanctification. This is accomplished in the believer's life by the Holy Spirit through yielding and obedience. One must die to sin daily to live a holy life.

We believe in the resurrection from the dead, first the righteous, second the ungodly.

We believe in the ordinances of the church established by Jesus Christ, the Lord's Supper and also Baptism by immersion as a symbol and witness of the new birth in Christ.

We believe in the grace of giving that all believers are expected to give both a tithe and offering to the local church.
We believe in the Lordship of Christ, and the set leadership of God and the Holy Spirit of a Pastor in the local body to follow and give direction.

We believe that gifted men and women are given to the church for the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry for the edifying of the Body of Christ, that we may grow up in Him in all things, the fivefold ministry of the body.
